When you purchase a license, we collect:

2.2 License Data
We store a hashed license key associated with your email for activation and recovery purposes.
2.3 What We Do NOT Collect
The desktop application does not collect, transmit, or store:
- Screen content, screenshots, or display data
- Keystroke data or input logs
- AI queries, prompts, or responses
- API keys you provide (BYOK)
- Usage analytics or telemetry
- System hardware identifiers beyond license validation
- Browser history, cookies, or personal files
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- License delivery: We send your license key to your email after purchase
- License recovery: We use your email to look up and resend lost license keys
- Transaction records: We maintain purchase records for accounting and dispute resolution
- Product updates: We may send critical security or product updates (you can opt out)
4. AI API KEYS (BYOK)
When you provide your own API keys for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or other AI providers:
- Keys are stored locally on your machine only
- API calls route directly from your device to the provider
- We never intercept, log, or transmit your API keys
- You are responsible for the security of your own API keys
5. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY
Payment and license data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest. The desktop application stores all user data locally with on-disk encryption. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access.
6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
- Razorpay: Payment processing — subject to Razorpay's Privacy Policy
- AI Providers: When using BYOK, your queries are subject to the respective provider's privacy policy (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google)
7. DATA RETENTION
We retain your email and license data for as long as your license is active, plus 12 months after expiration for recovery purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
